Donnie and Marty stood still on the spot. Everyone froze- even Bella herself. The overall silence was broken when Alex burst through the door. "Mum..." he whimpered.
"Alex?" Bella whispered before bursting into tears. The two hugged before they were joined by Cassandra. Everyone was crying. Donnie and Marty were just standing awkwardly like lemons. "Mum," Cassandra started, "this is my husband, Don". Bella politely shook his extended hand. "And these are my sons: Donald Nicolo and Martin Joseph." The boys blushed at the sound of their full names. "Or simply Donnie and Marty."
Marty was the first one to speak up. "Hi." he quietly said.
Bella looked at everyone funny. "How old are you boys?"
"Twenty-one" they chorused.
"I was abducted in 1996... it's 2017 now?"
Don nodded. "That's correct."
The rest of the evening continued with loads of crying, but the famil was all back together again, even though Bella had missed her daughter's wedding, her son growing up, and the her grandchildren growing up too.
Everyone seemed to noticed Bella looking older and older as the hours passed. She was catching up with her lost time. Nobody cared. The Goth-Lothario family was reunited. One of their members had been returned.
After the family reunion, Donnie was sitting on the sofa with Amy treating his feet. He had cut himself many times on the pavement. Donnie was chattering excitedly, describing the whole experience perfectly. "I can't believe this has really happened! I need to call Richie, Dirk, Dustin, Angie, Lil, Mona- everyone, really!" Amy gently clasped his hand, showing her engagement ring to her fiance.
"Now we'll have a fullhouse for our wedding." Amy said with a small smile on her face.
