Samantha Molly "Sam" Lothario is the eldest daughter of Donnie and Amy Lothario. She lives in Pleasantview with her parents and younger brother, Derek. She is the granddaughter of Don and Cassandra Lothario. She has a crush on Connor Hutchworth, but he doesn't seem to reciprocate. She is also the older cousin of Sophie Lothario.
Sam was an extremely outgoing child. She was full of energy and a pleasure to be with. She was the polar opposite of her younger brother, Derek. He was always quiet, and didn't like to do a lot.
When Sam was 5, she was taken to her uncle's wedding. It was unknown how this happened, but she managed to eat most of the food.
Sam was good friends with Rose Dreamer when they were children, but upon their first day at Pleasanview City School, they became best friends.
One day, a few years later, Sam was introduced to Rose's family. Rose's cousin, Connor, was also present. Within seconds, Sam had developed a crush on him. Connor is completely unaware of this.
