Not so long ago, Ariella was abducted by Aliens from her home in Old Town. However, the UFO crash landed here, allowing Ariella to escape. She may not have her memory, but all she cares about right now is running from Aliens.
The Thea (Thay-er) family is a pre-made family that first appeared in The Sims: Unleashed, and have returned in The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. They live in Old Town in The Sims: Unleashed, Rosebud Village in The Sims 2 (except for Ariella who lives in Strangeville and The Sims 3 (except for Airella who lives in Lunar Lakes during The Sims 3), and Newcrest in The Sims 4. The latter being set in an alternate universe from the one established in The Sims - The Sims 3. Except for Ariella who is the same Sim from the original universe.
