Anachronism Stew: Plenty, asides from the time traveling themselves. For one, Demetria's last name refers to Mycenae, which pretty much was a tourist location since the Roman period. Also, given the Modern Greek transliteration that renders the eta (η) as i, Demetria and Thessalonike would be transliterated as Dimitria and Thessaloniki respectively rather than Demetria and Thessalonike, which are transliterated in the Ancient Greek fashion in which the η is transliterated as the long e.
Time Travel: Well, Alkmaionids of the 5th century B.C.? Attalids of the 2nd century B.C.? The Ptolemies of the 3rd/2nd century B.C.? Pi? Yup.
WooHoo is Evil: One of the major tenets of Kallisto's new way of life
Cultural Rebel: Subverted, given that the Ecclesiarchy's core members are largely Greek. However, played straight for the most part with Kallisto, given that Kallisto is not Ancient Greek, and neither are the 3 Disciples. However, not entirely played straight given that the celebrity culture of Bridgeport is largely Western.
Rebel Leader: Subverted by the case of David Pollair, given that the SimNation is not brutal, although he is allied with Kallisto.
Grey and Grey Morality: There are no true "evil" factions, only different points of view. On the one hand, the status quo topped by the celebrities promote fame and fortune, while Kallisto rejects it, preferring an monastic life of development and work toward overal progress. For flaws, the celebrity culture often is quite exclusive, looking down upon those who have not yet reached the celebrity rung, while the Ecclesiarchy is intolerant to romance (and luxury for its own sake), deeming it detrimental to the ideal style of life that it promotes.
Grey and Black Morality: The case if the reader believes the "ends justify the means" approach to the Ecclesiarchy as black.
Alpha Girl/Jerk Jock: How Kallisto views the celebrities and a view that is also shared to a lesser extent by Demetria as well
Superstition Episode: The evil eye is lightly covered in the Defect Tiberium episode. Given historical evidences of Ancient Greeks having access to such notions as well, this may be expanded
Failure is the only option: Applies several ways: For the Ecclesiarchy, it is getting a large size of male followers. For the Council of Bridgeport, it would be doing anything concrete in a significant fashion, with the exception of making allies with the Bronzefangs.
Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: For two primary reasons: excessively large scope of the story (as is the case with Thessalonike), and pure laziness (as is the case with the Bronzefangs of Ezekiel). Doesn't help that the user also has real-life commitment. Damn. However, Development of Sunlit Tides have continued the story, but hasn't gone deeply into the big plot of Ecclesiarchy vs pro-WooHoo/pro-Celebrity fight yet.
Anti-Villains or Anti-Heroes: Given the nature of Polemic Progressivism, which upholds progress over all else and holds that conflict begets progress, the Ecclesiarchy commits morally questionable acts to rally men to force changes on the Ecclesiarchy's part. Their Neo-Malthusian view of mankind's reproductive tendency is one such thing: they don't want to see the world overpopulated and thus collapse into a post-apocalyptic state because people consume too much resources, and thus the Ecclesiarchy promotes antisexuality and artificial wombs to control population growth while they work on ways to control resource consumptions. Because of the rather controversial methods that Ecclesiarchy takes, it challenges more traditional-minded folks to change to that Ecclesiarchal ways don't have to be the solution. Yuri Kang for example is viewed in high opinion because of the Ecclesiarchal mindset: they believe Yuri is one of such traditional folk who will take up an alternate path. Since the whole mindset isn't terribly villain-like (in fact, somewhat heroic), the perception of the Ecclesiarchy as a villain or a hero is all up to the reader.
Asexuality: Or rather, antisexuality. WooHoo is considered heresy.
A Million is a statistic: Not in humans, but rather in simoleons: In a typical neighborhood, a house of §100,000 is quite valuable, and a family fund of §75,000 is considered rich (considering the Altos and the Landgraabs). However, given the higher curve in Hekatonschoinos, not even §300,000 is considered rich by Ecclesiarchal standards but rather considered a reserve funds to absorb the shock. On top, real estates are lot more expensive: buying all of Hekatonschoinos's real estates would take around 7 million simoleons. The figure is predicted to be even higher on Heptanomis.
Death by WooHoo: Averted, although there were no cases of execution due to WooHoo. However, by the glory invested in causation, romance causes WooHoo, and toleration means heresy. Just ask Antigone. On the other hand, Tessa had a surprise pregnancy with Hippias. Kallisto was not amused.
Non-Idle Rich: Ecclesiarchal members are expected to maintain all equipments and produce something of value, given very few things are now beyond the Ecclesiarchy's grasp. In fact, there is a thought of the day for this. Luxury begets idleness, and heresy grows from idleness .
Power Inflation: No preset sims ever mastered a skill (not so now with the rise of Into the Future). In the Ecclesiarchy, mastering one skill is pretty much expected, and Core members are to have mastered a minimum of 3 skills, although most master much more.
Shout Out: Ecclesiarchy basically replicates the Jesuit call for higher educational standards and lower corruption.
Wrench Wench: Filled with them. Kallisto wants to recruit more, such as Yuri Kang and Eun Jin Choi.
You have outlived your Usefulness: Averted. Kallisto was not happy about the surprise pregnancy (that would imply another thing), but decided that Tessa was still too valuable to cast out, and decides to undo the entire chain of events via time manipulation, using renovation as an excuse.
Captain Ersatz: As the name would imply, the Ecclesiarchy is definitely based on 40k materials. Has an inflexible doctrine? If talking romance check. Calls things they don't like heresy? Check. Likes consolidation of power? Check. Also, while the Jesuits were one of the inspiration for the Ecclesiarchal structures, the actual modus operandi is closer to the Byzantine monastic life.
Cloud cuckoo lander: All but one are insane. However, level of insanity portrayed differs: Kallistrata playing this in a most straight manner, while Lysistrata doesn't really show up.
Munchkin: Mastering 9 skills at bare minimum. Mastery of 13 skills is not unheard of, and in many cases one has almost mastered a skill.
Robot Master: All of the Big 6 can make SimBots, and have plenty of materials to make it happen.
Church Militant: Although not all that aggressive, they are certainly eager to make hostile moves, such as the bombardment of Bridgeport simply for its status as the core of the celebrity culture and the fact that the celebrities of the first timeline gave the Beauty 4 the cold shoulders, one of the reason why Demetria has some issues with their second timeline counterparts.
Nerds are Virgins: And proud ones at that.
Captain Ersatz: Kallisto and Kallistrata's love of experimentation on humans are quite reminiscent of Yagokoro Eirin's experimentation on rabbits. And this setting was set before the user knew about the infernal Touhou series. And let's not talk about high intelligence, old age (at least Kallisto), immortality, high skills in general... And the biggest slap in the face? The name Eirin includes the Chinese logogram 琳, which means beautiful (gem). To compare, Kallisto (and Kallistrata) involves the root καλος, meaning beautiful. Why ZUN WHY?!?!?!
Hypocrite: Refer to paradox of tolerance, and their intolerance of mainstream media and celebrities for their vision of them appealing to lowest common denominator as well as celebrities generally stereotyped as Jerk Jocks.
Archmage: Has genie powers and psychic powers. Top that up with martial proficiency.
Cloud cuckoo lander: Kallisto is serious about the anti-celebrity business. However, outside the realms of politics... Kallisto wants nothing more than to eat Freezer Bunny Ice Cream while speaking madness, usually about the glory of the coming nephelokokkygia.
Death from Above: Bombed Bridgeport. Subverted given that no one actually died from all the bombardment, until Alastairbecomes the first victim.
Emperor: Well, Kallisto is the ruler of the Papal State alongside the rest of the Big 6.
For Science!: To be exact, for science to relieve us from primitive ways!
Genius Bruiser: Kallisto is not only mentally gifted, but also an master of the Martial arts along with the rest of the Big 6
Hikkikomori: Was one at the times of the Beauty 4: Kallisto was the least willing to go outside, and Kallisto was only interested in visiting spots that interested her. Hence Kallisto is responsible for many of the features in Beauty 4's dwellings. Also influences the philosophy behind the Naos-Stratopedon, which is designed to support almost all vital and supplementary (i.e. skill) functions as possible.
Hypocrite: Throws Antigone out for tolerating romance. Spares Tessa after her pregnancy.
Nakama/True Companions: Kallisto is very used to this: Scholars' Alliance and Union of the Insane.
Rich in Dollars, Poor in Sense: A rather unintentional one, as the design of houses were undergone to allow for as many as skill related tools as possible, jacking the average prices of Hekatonschoinos homes in general, to the point where Kallisto had to deliberately make houses for the poor which would have to rely on the public workhouses for skill practice. Snapped out of it very quickly.
Strict Disciplinarian: Although Kallisto isn't the meanest matron to the orphans (e.g. Esomena), Kallisto has no tolerance to any traces of heresy whatsoever. On the other hand, Kallisto is generally well-mannered. Also, the reason why Kallisto ended up creating an official doctrine in the first place is to prevent another schism.
Proud Scholar Race Girl: Wishes to forge a new culture based on scholasticism
Robot Master: Built 5 Simbots total, more than any other in the Fanon Namespace, although 4 of the 5 are no longer aligned with her timeline. Of course, Kallisto can always build more, as can rest of her companions. Expect Plumbots to join Kallisto's rank of progeny, assuming I can actually resume the fanon.
Badass Family: both Stratonike and Theophania (Stratonike's simbot) are in the Military Career. To a lesser extent, also extends to the brother of husband of the sister, who also have some Martial Arts points.
Friend to All Asians: Stratonike is by far the most open to the Asian population, and Stratonike is the one who is seeking to make Papal colonies in the Far East Asia. Somewhat different to the overall Attalid attitude, as Attalids assume the mindset of tourists, while Stratonike assume the mindset of near-equal political power.
Grumpy Old Woman: Somewhat: Stratonike is the second oldest chronologically, given Eurydike is of the 5th century. However, Stratonike has the longest continual storyline given that Eurydike has expired in the first timeline. Stratonike is good at repelling people unlike Kallisto, and has made several uncomfortable relations with many. However, takes a sharp turn with a surprisingly smooth moves on Bradley that settled Esomena's crisis.
Historical Re Creation: Somewhat, although it is more of an artistic license. For one, Stratonike is not based on Stratonike of Pergamon, as 1) Stratonike of the Fanon is actually of Attalid bloodline 2) Stratonike of Pergamon probably didn't know squat about sculpting. Stratonike's proficiency in sculpting is an ode to both Stratonike of Pergamon and Damophon, as Damophon made a statue of the historical character, while the historical Stratonike had statues set up, one each in Pergamon and Delos.
Scrooge: Stratonike wants to tone down the Naos-Stratopedon, reducing luxury while increasing its functionality, reducing pool areas, eliminating superfluous bathrooms, and eliminating all decorations save those that were produced. Ironically, most decorative items in the Naos-Stratopedon are crafted or refined, one of the reasons why Stratonike isn't too unhappy about the house, especially since Stratonike appreciates time saved in sleeping that is a result of a good bed.
Lancer: Most fitting as Kallisto is quite charming and hasn't made personal enemies, while Stratonike tends to be much more abrasive.
Powerful and Adorable: Right alongside Kallisto as one of the most powerful in the Fanon universe, and at the same time with a face that would be recognized as that of a grade schooler.
Cloud cuckoo lander: The biggest fan of Freezer Bunny, and wants to create the "Nephelolagogia" (Cloud Bunny Land) that would embrace the Freezer Bunny.
Genki Girl
Green Thumb: Spends the most time out of the Big 6 in the garden, mostly to fuel the Nectar industry.
Power equals Rarity: Averted, as Kallistrata's brands are not only one of the best nectars, but also the most numerous, given her tendency to mass-produce, making nectar by units of 10 batches.
Ryu and Ken: Kallistrata is an Kallisto Clone, and has the same traits as the base, but by taking a niche, differentiates herself enough.
Starving Artist: Averted hard. Hypatia reliably produces profitable paintings and sculptures. However, the top price for a single piece goes to Stratonike, who produced a sculpture chair with a base price over 5,000 simoleons.
Mad Scientist: Her job. Subverted in that Hypatia is the only member of the Big 6 to not be insane.
Mary Sue: Originally was designed as one.
Meaningful Name: Hypatia is the feminine form of Hypatos, meaning supreme. This is especially meaningful in the First and the early Second timeline, in which Hypatia was the supreme in terms of skills.
Mentor: Hypatia's former role, at least at the times of the Scholars' Alliance.
Only Sane One: In fact, the only sane member of the Big 6. Also comes up with some practical notes, such as the problem of appreciation that is associated with hard currencies, particularly an issue in the export-oriented economy of the Papal State, especially its capital.
Smart One: Compared to Stratonike or Kallisto/Kallistrata's Quirk
Charmer: Maxed out the Charisma skill. Extremely interesting, as not even Demetria had achieved that feat. However, isn't noted for her social smoothness, although Eurydike is a Schmoozer and a politician. Another point is that Eurydike was the initiator in the Stratonike vs Eurydike schism that happened alongside the Romance Heresy.
Hikikkomori: Mentionable given the general direction that the Alkmaionids took in the First Timeline, Eurydike leading the role in introversion of the Alkmaionid house. Eurydike, alongside Lysistrata, are also the most passive members of the Big 6. Averted by her role as the social link.
Lysistrata Amphipolita
Powerful Bookworm: Exactly what it says on the tin. Max Martial Arts skill (and plenty of other skills) and top that off with the Bookworm trait.
The Medic: Works in the Medical career.
Tagalong: Lysistrata was originally an houseguest to the Alkmaionids in the Second Timeline, just before the creation of the Union of the Insane (which evolved into the said political faction)
The Chick: Certainly more so than more pragmatic Chrysanthema or Pyrrha. Esomena is much more idealistic, and also Esomena's the one who is actually taking on the task of town development.
Wandering Minstrel: Was a part of the Mathetai Mouson.
Woobie: gets trasmuted into gold thrice, and is subject to other sorts of hardship despite (or sometimes because of) Ecclesiarchal intervention. Jessica is also the most common subject in the Ecclesiarchy's hypnotism research, although the Ecclesiarchy doesn't really ask harsh things. Such is not the case when other people are on the commanding post...
Captain Ersatz: Being the subject of many of Ecclesiarchy's experiments do scream Reisen Udongein Inaba to those familiar with its fandom material.
Heart/Messiah: Jessica, despite lacking the Good trait, is soft-hearted as one can ever be. Somewhat weakened by the other Ecclesiarchal members weeping for Jessica after she was bailed out unscathed.
Put in a bus: gone in Heptanomis, nowhere to be found.
Creating Life is Awesome: first sim to be purely artificially created by the Ecclesiarchy, not just cloned. Subverted in-actual-game-mechanicwise as Phthinophoria was made by altering an Esomena clone made from the clone elixir.
Field Promotion: Promoted from a simple member of the Sunset Valley Chapter Member to the status of governor-general (Epitrope) of Sunlit Tides
Hypercompetent Sidekick: Subverted. Phthinophoria has gone through building projects equal to or perhaps greater than Esomena in a much shorter time. However, Phthinophoria relied on preexisting blueprints from the Headquarters (minus the alchemy shop), while Esomena did it on her own.
Fictional Counterpart: A direct flip of the Evil counterpart which is by itself rather questionable given the oppression of Palestinian population by the Israelis which is a leading figure in the anti-American sentiments (given the American tacit "ok"), 3 of them are recreation of key Al-Qaeda members (Usaim -> Osama, Ayham -> Ayman, Anwar -> Anwar), minus the terrorism (and extremism). This is especially so given that many accounts, including the study by Michael Scheuer, have described Osama as a silent and well-mannered man. There are other factors: the Al-Dar is based on companionship not unlike the Ecclesiarchy, which is not always the case, given that bin Laden did not initially hold Awlaki in high esteem.
Knight Templar: They are fiercely anti-materialistic, and is disapproving of the celebrity culture of Bridgeport. They do have some issues with the Ecclesiarchy, namely the leading role of women, but that is secondary. They are quite open about their views, although they do play the pragmatist when dealing with the Ecclesiarchy.
Granola Girl: Although not the most extreme nor stereotypical as suggested, Yuri features many of the standings associated with the left, including pacifism and environmentalism
Green Thumb: Yuri is one of the secondary producers of Life Fruit in Papal State (and a direct beneficiary of Ecclesiarchal investments)
Wrench Wench: The reason why the Ecclesiarchy scouts Yuri (alongside Eunjin)
Messiah: More so than Jessica. Yuri is also one of the few to call for action when the PETDIE plague started up in Hekatonschoinos.
Determinator: Kyriake is one, and has pushed for her skills despite pressure from Athanasia, and gets her way after the defect tiberium incident that leaves the Kostopouloi rolling in dough.
Proper Lady: Athanasia
Wrench Wench: Kyriake, alongside the rest of the Tech Nerd Trine Yuri and Eun Jin.
Friendly Rival: Angelos with Bayram. Not so much with Athanasia and Ayla. The case with Angelos and Bayram is a novel one, as Greek-Turkish relationships are anything but friendly in almost all cases.
Adult Child: Very much. Prefers leisure and gaming over duties.
Friend to all Living things: The reason for him establishing an orphanage. Also, he is also a leading figure in adoption of pets, despite them rapidly dying off in Hekatonschoinos given the PETDIE.
Good Is Dumb: One of the few genuinely good characters. Although he isn't dumb intellectually, he is far below average when it comes to skills, especially when compared to say his gaming friend.
Geek/Otaku: A Warhammer Fan, to the point where he adopted Tau Names. Apparently skilled, as nobody complains about him assuming the surname Aunel, as Aun is the prefix for the Etherial caste.
Nice Guy: Really. He may not have the Good trait but he is one of those few characters who are genuinely nice, and also one of the few characters not interested in political power.
Proud to be a Geek: The reason why Kallisto ever took notice of the guy in the first place.
Alpha Jerk: While not all the constituents are as stereotypically manipulative, malicious, and superficial as the trope would imply, a good chunk of them certainly fit the category of the relatively superficial "popular girl/guy" category that looks down on the plebs.
Not-So-Omniscient Council of Bickering: The best imagery of the group, mainly caused by allocation of costs, namely that celebrities don't want to pay for even the most basic actions through their own pocket. Received Baron Uranium and Lord Plutonium? Doesn't do anything. Want to make a propaganda film with Geiles? LOLNOPE.
Lovable Alpha: While Demetria does associate with the popular established celebrities, Demetria is of the reformist and dove side of the Council. Demetria views this somewhat like the pre-revolution France and believes reforms are needed to prevent a major unwanted change in the establishment.
Red and Blue: Blue to Antigone's Red, and also Ezekiel's Red.
Defector from Decadence: In Antigone's point of view, Antigone finds intolerance in the Ecclesiarchy, and doesn't like the perceived hypocrisy of the Ecclesiarchy. After all, the core root of the Ecclesiarchy was always the nerd fighting the alpha jerk due to the exclusivity clause implied in the popular group.
Barbarian Hero: While Bronzefangs are more cultured than the trope may imply, Bronzefangs are much more individualistic, and tend to accept instincts and "natural impulses."
Captain Ersatz: Given the setting, there are enough difference between them and the Space Wolves, but the general direction is the same: individualistic fighters fighting for the establishment although not necessarily accepting all that is the establishment, with werewolf elements.
Genius Bruiser: He's strong, he has the werewolf physical strength bonus, and he's intelligent to boot. How else could he effectively manage Moonlight Falls, and become the Leader of the Bronzefang/Free World in the first place?
Red and Blue: Ezekiel's much more confrontational than Demetria, the latter seeking a bit of compromise and reform to prevent violence. Ezekiel believes that the fundamentalist nature of the Ecclesiarchal Papal State will eventually necessitate conflict (given the Ecclesiarchy's Neo-Malthusian view that proposes the castration of all Simkind and replace population via artificial wombs), Demetria believes that pragmatism and changes on their part could solve it (for one, Papacy did not use brute force to acquire territories, and the assassination of Alana was not Kallisto's initial plan: Kallisto had little interest in Sunlit Tides itself initially. In addition, the primary reason for the secession, notably Twinbrook, was caused by anti-celebrity sentiments and others: Pollair being an environmentalist found the radically pro-progress Ecclesiarchy more attractive.)
