Valentine Monty II is the middle child of Romeo and Juliette Monty. He lives in Veronaville with his parents and his siblings - older sister Rosaline and younger twin brother Paris.

Being the child of a Monty and a Capp, Valentine is related to many people in Veronaville. He is a cousin to Emilia and Benvolio Monty. He is the nephew of Mercutio Monty, Hermia Monty and Tybalt Capp.

Like all characters residing in Veronaville, Valentine is named after a character from a Shakespeare play. Valentine's namesake is Valentine from Romeo and Juliet, the unseen brother of Mercutio.
