Summary[edit source]

The Murphy bed is a type of bed introduced in The Sims 2: Apartment Life, The Sims 3: University Life, and The Sims 4: Tiny Living Stuff. The bed folds into the wall to save space. However, unlike real-life Murphy beds, the space used by an opened bed is still considered to be in use when the bed is closed. While Sims are able to walk through that space, objects cannot be placed in that space without using the moveobjects cheat.
