I will elaborate. Wikia Chat was closed due to sheer inactivity. Nobody was using it and there was nobody moderating it. Plain and simple. When the Discord server opened it immediately gained way more popularity than Wikia Chat, so there was basically no question in closing it down. Wikia Chat was simply a failure from the beginning, having never caught on. There is no point in keeping this useless feature around. Lastly, you do not need to pay to have an account or use any of the features on the wiki, so your entire thread is ill-informed. Oppose - Fandom Chat was a ghost town when it was closed. There weren't any benefits in keeping it open. And circumstances haven't changed since. Therefore I'm opposing reopening it until there's a popular demand to have it reopened. I'm not sure who told you that you have to pay to have Discord, but that is blatantly incorrect.
