Hello[edit source]

So this is admittedly late and not off to the greatest start with some of you, so first let me say I'm sorry about any abrupt changes that you may have encountered without being asked on the forums first. I'm used to just approaching a single admin/bureaucrat regarding any changes so it's refreshing to see such an active community that still discusses with each other first before implementing anything (though obviously made it look like I was walking on your toes without realizing it until some of you were nice enough to reach out and tell me to stop that).

So with that awkward intro out of the way, I'm here as a content team member with Fandom to try and get infoboxes updated to portability. For those who don't know what portability does, it's really to get the box information to display well across multiple platforms, like mobile.

While a bit late for 2 infoboxes, the game and family (though you can revert those changes if you wish) I'd like to open this up to discuss any issues regarding portability you may have to see if we can find a common ground with updating them.

A few notes I've already been informed about was that you wish to refrain from touching fanon pages that still use outdated templates, and while that's perfectly acceptable, just note the data may not display correctly on other screens. I've also been told that you guys like to control the image sizes in infoboxes. As long as you're ok with one set size across all infoboxes (like 250px) I can see what we can do to make that work for you. Mechemik (talk) 02:12, August 15, 2019 (UTC)

I do not have the time at the moment to write a complete and detailed response, but firstly I will say that I am not impressed with the fact that these changes were simply rolled out and that you used your admin tools to perform actions that only local admins would be expected to do, like deleting our templates without consensus and under T3 without knowing what T3 was intended for. At this time I would suggest you hold up on editing any more articles and migrating any more templates until the community has had time to process your actions. You may continue to work on infoboxes, just don't port them over just yet. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 10:47, August 15, 2019 (UTC)
