Completing the Gardening skill challenge
All gardening skill challenge completed.
This game guide is for The Sims 3 only.
In The Sims 3, there are three Gardening skill challenges to complete. This tutorial will assist players in completing these challenges.
Master Planter[edit | edit source]
A Master Planter must plant the 19 types of plant available in the game. Once you have mastered the varieties you will be able to reduce weed growth significantly on future plants.
How to Unlock: The Sim must have mastered the gardening skill to complete this challenge. The Collection Helper lifetime reward bought for 40,000 points will help to find unique seeds and produce to plant.
Botanical Boss[edit | edit source]
Botanical Bosses must harvest at least 75 Perfect fruits and vegetables. After so many Perfect harvestables, the plants of Botanical Bosses almost never die from neglect.
How To Unlock: Harvest 75 perfect quality of any fruits or vegetables. With the Super Green Thumb lifetime reward, plants become one quality level higher than the seed or produce it was planted from. Harvestables are also automatically one quality level higher than the plant they were harvested from.
Master Farmer[edit | edit source]
Master Farmers have harvested at least 650 fruits and vegetables. The plants of Master Farmers remain watered and fertilized longer, meaning their gardens are more efficient. And if you have a garden gnome he will come to life and water your garden.
How To Unlock: Harvest 650 of any fruits or vegetables. Various parks in the world may have plants that are available to harvest which will speed up the completion of this challenge. Also, Gatherers have 30% chance of harvesting 2 extra produce from a plant.

- The Green Thumb and Loves the Outdoors traits will help Sims to complete these challenges.
