Now there are a few ways to keep a marriage in The Sims 4. One of them being cheats, but if you'd like your sims to have a no cheat relationship here are your ways of getting there. -The first one being marry a gold digger, or in other words have a rich sim marry a poor sim with the materialistic trait and or the money ambition. 9 times out of ten the poor sim will stay because they can now buy things, but if you want the sim your sim marries to have. . . Well a soul here are a few tips.

-Have your sims spend lots of time together. Just like a real couple if the sims don't communicate then eventually they'll split up.

-Make sure neither of your sims cheat. Now this sort of links up to the latter, because 9 times out of ten your sim will, (if they don't have a good relationship with their spouse) cheat.

-WhooHoo every once and a while. This ups your sims romantic relationship

-Don't have children if you have a child hating sim your household. It's the quickest way to loose a spouse, so if your sim or the sim your sim marries has the child hating trait, make sure NOT to have a child, or if you have a child to neglect it till the socieal worker comes.
