Extracting Sims with SimPE[edit source]

Extracting Sim files using SimPE with the following three methods.
  1. Extracting Sims from the templates of the original Neighbourhoods folders that are located in your Local Disc (C:)
  2. Extracting Sims from backup copies of your game's Neighbourhoods folders that are located wherever you stored them.
  3. Extracting Sims from your game's Neighbourhoods folders that are located in your current game's Neighbourhoods folders.

I've found using the first two methods to be quite harmless, even though I do feel that it's recommended to save new copies of the Sims you extracted, using BodyShop, since it results in a significantly smaller file.

I've only used the third method once, and it corrupted the data of the four Sims that I extracted, which forced me to re-create them in Create a Sim, using files that I had extracted safely from the original neighbourhoods templates. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 02:22, April 7, 2016 (UTC)
