Ian Curtin is a pre-made adult townie who lives in Garden Heights, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. He can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. Ian works in the Medicine career as a Nurse.

Ian has the Family aspiration and the Cancer zodiac sign. As far as personality goes, Ian is somewhat neat, active, and nice. But he is quite shy and somewhat serious. When it comes to his skill points, Ian has 1 skill point in logic, and 2 in cleaning, but he doesn't have any other skills. He is mostly interested in Work, Fashion and Money. Ian has 5 interest points in Sci-Fi which is extremely uncommon, given that almost all other NPCs, young adult and up have 4 points in Sci-Fi. He may get additional relationships with other townies assigned to him in-game. Ian has the same facial structure as fellow townie Zeeshan Despret.

Strangely, Ian has memories of meeting other NPCs. He shares this oddity with Jess Stompel and Lora McGaw. Ian even has a memory of meeting Alice Whitt. However, Alice does not share this memory nor does she know him.
