Indie Thornton is a female cat owned by Brock Thornton from Garden Heights, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. She is an adult Bombay and does not wear a collar. Indie was found wandering on the street by Brock, who brought her to his house and nursed her back to health. She lives with her owner Brock and the latter's roommate Reece Mustella. Indie does not play a part in the Best in Show story.

Brock, Reece and Indie live in 1314 Pal Avenue and become playable from there at the end of the story.

As far as personality goes, Indie is a doofus, hyper, friendly, and cowardly cat. Her main interests are Animals, Scary Things, and Playtime.

Oddly, Indie doesn't know Sam, Roscoe, Bruno, or Meat, despite having memories about them. Her memory of Brock becoming hers also doesn't match their relationship.
