Joy Toyonaga is one of the pre-made NPC gardeners who resides in Bitville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. The other two gardeners are Lainey Butler and Kent Grundstrom. She can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. Joy has long brown hair in pigtails, brown eyes and medium skin. She is a Knowledge Sim with the Pisces zodiac sign. As far as personality, Joy is very outgoing, somewhat nice, and a little bit active. But she is somewhat sloppy and serious.

When it comes to Joy's skills, she is close to maximizing the cooking and charisma skills, and is on her way towards maximizing the body skill. She is mostly interested in Environment, Paranormal, and Work. Joy has the same facial structure as Kimberly Roennigke. Her turn ons/offs are randomized at the start of the game. It is only referenced in the game files that she has no turn ons/offs. Often going unnoticed, Joy has 28 personality points instead of the usual 25.

Due to Gardeners not being hirable in The Sims Life Stories, as plants never need maintenance, Joy will never appear ingame and is effectively an unplayable Sim.
