Karen Gast is one of the pre-made nannies in The Sims 2 who resides in Pleasantview and custom neighborhoods. The other two nannies are Calista Despret and Kendal Lawson. Karen can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her.
Her biggest interests are food and travel. According to Karen's SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was black before it turned grey. When she appears in custom neighborhoods, her personality, skills and interests will be different from the ones she has in Pleasantview, seen below. Karen has the same facial structure as Melissa Fancey.
She has been known to pick fights with other Sims when she is hired, due to having only 3 nice points. If the player wants to get rid of her, simply fire her and hire another nanny, or kill her to be certain that she won't come back.
