Klara Vonderstein is a pre-made La Fiesta Tech student in her freshman year, majoring in Political Science. She lives in a household with William Williamson and Blossom Moonbeam, although since there are no pre-built empty houses in the neighborhood big enough to comfortably accommodate three Sims, it can be problematic to have them all live together once they leave the dorms.
She may be of German descent, as hinted at in her bio (which states that she has moved to SimNation from another, unnamed country specifically to attend university) and by her name. Klara is 72 hours away from the final exam in her first semester, when she and her roommates are moved into a household or lot. Like several other Sims from La Fiesta Tech, she starts off with no gender preference. Also when viewing Klara's character file in SimPE her zodiac sign is not recognized.
"Klara" is the Slavic form of the more common Latinate "Clara" spelling. Her surname seems to pun on three common German family name elements - "von", "der" and "stein" - which literally translates as "of the stone", although they were probably chosen for their familiarity rather than their meaning.
Her lastname could also be read as "Wonderstein" where "stein" refers to the real world genius Einstein, implying that she is of above average intellect (as her knowledge aspiration confirms). In fact, her name was translated to Klara Wunderstein in the German version of the game. Klara looks like a stereotypical (by her name probably Russian or German) spy with sunglasses.
