Lainey Custer is a pre-made obedience trainer who appears in every neighborhood that is updated with the secret sub-neighborhood Pets, which is shipped with The Sims 2: Pets expansion pack. The other two obedience trainers are Arcadia Carr and Autumn Raha. She can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her.

Lainey has the same facial structure as Ashlee Kalson. According to her SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was brown before it turned grey. Lainey's name is randomized when Pets is generated. The name "Lainey Custer" is only referenced in the game files.
