Notes & trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Sloppy Jalopy reuses the same model as the Smoogo Minima featured in The Sims 2: Nightlife. It is used by the pizza delivery service.
  • Due to the Big Lemon appearing as a European vehicle, it would be the possible predecessor of the VFN Kompensator.
  • The Vorn P328 has a similar name to the pickup from The Sims 2, the Smord P328. The company Vorn also manufactures the Stallion muscle car (presumably without the heavy modifications). Its manufacturer is the successor of the Smord company, making the aforementioned company defunct.
  • The Retro Ride succeeds the junky car featured in The Sims (which is the 1957 Bel Air), albeit clean and in good condition.
  • Having a Renault Twizy lowers the bills by 0.05%, but this only applies to a household's first one. The Renault Twizy reuses the Bwan Speedster YL script due to the fact that it has two seats.[confirmation needed]
  • Although the 4-Everything Van looks identical to the Vorn P328, it is actually different. The grille appears wider and shorter compared to the aforementioned car.
  • The rusted version of the Heartbreak Hot Rod is available in Pets and Supernatural as decor items.
  • The Heartbreak Hot Rod uses a slightly noisier variation of the Vorn P328's engine sound.
  • The Yomoshoto Evasion uses a completely different model compared to the car of the same name in The Sims 2: Nightlife. Despite this, it could be a direct successor to the Sims 2 model.
  • Although the Yomoshoto Evasion appears as a coupe, its script name is considering it a sedan.
  • The Toyota Prius, Toyota Prius v, Renault Fluence, 2011 Ford Fiesta, 2011 Ford Fiesta Hatchback and 2012 Ford Focus Four Door reuse the Yomoshoto Evasion's script.
  • The Tofunda Wagon's manufacturer name is a play on Toyota.
  • The Vorn Stallion is derived from the Awesome Customized Car from The Sims 2: Freetime with headlights, fatter rear tires and a blower.
  • Unlike the Rock Town 3000, which uses its own script, the Vorn Stallion reuses the VFN Kompensator's script.
  • The name of the VFN Kompensator includes references to various car companies. Kompensator is a play on Kompressor, which is Mercedes-Benz's marketing name for supercharged engines, and VFN is a reference to BMW.
  • The VFN Kompensator is also the only car to have a European-style license plate contrary to square US plates.
  • La Matea's name in English when translated from West Frisian is "let's go". Its name is invalid in Spanish.
  • The Montalcino Fandango SE and LuminaCar 3000 reuse the Bwan Speedster YL's script.
  • The Classically Cool Fixer-Upper car from Roaring Heights has the same body as the Sylvan Motor Carriage, but there are cosmetic differences between the two.
  • The name of the Margaret Vaguester could be a parody of the Enzo, which was named after the founder of Ferrari himself. Presumably, this car was built by a company called 'Vaguester' and named after its founder in the same vein as the Enzo.
  • The Woo Woo 4000's sounds are different to that of the NPC firetruck, which uses a different siren and the engine sound from the Vorn P328. It also replaces the Vorn P328 firetruck, but does not override the script.
  • Although the Scooter-a-Glow-Glow doesn't require World Adventures, the scooter will have no engine sound if this expansion pack isn't installed.
  • The name of the DeLorraine Flying Roadster hover car, and its description, is an obvious reference to the DeLorean from the Back to the Future franchise.
