Mai Lau is a pre-made Sim from Midnight Hollow. She resides in Extraordinary Home, at 123 Poffald Place, with her younger sisters, Annie and Lucy.

After an experiment gone awry, the three sisters, who were trying to optimize the human body, were left with extremely fit physiques and the need for a new pupose in life. Indeed, when the game starts, each sister will become fit and may get a memory of losing weight, if Generations is installed. However, none of the sisters have any history of being employed in the science career track.

Mai is instead employed as Lieutenant in the Law Enforcement career track. She does not have any skills when the game starts.

Mai is good friends with both her sisters. Outside of her home, she is friends with Josie Crane and Joaquin Dorsey, and will be acquainted with her boss and partner.

In her inventory, she also has a police car.
