Makoto St. Julien is a member of the Bohemians from the Magic secret sub-neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He appears in every neighborhood, being occasional the neighbor of Sims who live in a middle-low apartment. He can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. Like all pre-made townies, Makoto's relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game.

Like all pre-made elder social class Sims, Makoto is unemployed at the start of the game. However, if certain other expansion packs are installed, the game may randomly assign him a career to match his social class, when he is first spawned in-game. As far as personality, Makoto is extremely outgoing; however, he is somewhat sloppy, lazy, and serious, and quite grouchy. Like all pre-made elder social class Sims, Makoto has no pre-set skill points.

He is mostly interested in Environment, Food, and Weather. Despite his lifetime want, and turn ons, Makoto isn't interested in Sports. He has the same facial structure as Vasyl McClellan. According to Makoto's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was blond before it turned grey. He can be seen in one of the photos in the Patel family album.
