Game The Sims Bustin' Out

Malcolm's Mansion is a residential lot in SimValley in The Sims Bustin' Out. It is the home of Malcolm Landgraab. Players can only reach this lot in story mode by reaching level 9 of their chosen career. It is the most expensive lot in the game leading to large bills — up to several thousand Simoleons every few days.

When players first unlock the mansion and choose to move in, Mom will appear on the lot and perform the interaction "Use Sign Language". She will run to Malcolm and slap him. After this, Malcolm will leave the lot, vowing for revenge.

Players are then able to live in and customize the mansion as they want. Unlike other lots, the player won't lose or gain any money upon moving out if they change the lot's value, leaving them free to modify it to their liking.

This is the only lot where players are able to reach the top of their career.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Peter Tutti will visit Malcolm's Mansion every day near 11 am.
  • A bug may occur if the player visits Malcolm's Mansion before moving in, where Malcolm will block the entrance. After the player moves in, Malcolm won't be scared off the lot by Mom, and will live with the player. This seems to cause issues with achieving certain goals, particularly those that give a gnome for finishing each career path, as well as the goal for renovating the lot.[confirmation needed]
