Marek Cleveland is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the husband of Andrea Cleveland, the father of Leon Cleveland, the grandfather of Jason Cleveland, and the great-grandfather of Justin Cleveland. Marek is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave.

He has the Fortune aspiration, and the Gemini zodiac sign. As far as personality, Marek is very active and quite outgoing. But he is somewhat sloppy, and quite serious and grouchy. According to Marek's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was red before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 14 days left in the elder life stage when he died.

Marek's facial structure is almost, if not identical to the 6th Maxis face template in Create a Sim. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However Marek still has memories of Leon's birth, as well as his grandson Jason getting engaged and married.

He has a strange oddity where he and his wife, if resurrected, will be listed as family. Because of this, they won't be able to get married, and will treat each other like blood relatives. The same situation occurs with many of Belladonna Cove's ancestors. This can be easily fixed in SimPE, or with the InSimenator, by adding the love flag to their relationship.

Marek is mostly interested in Paranormal, Travel, Sports, Entertainment, and Work, and is least interested in Politics, Fashion, Health, Animals, and Toys. His lifetime want is to become a Business Tycoon. If the player uses the HoodChecker to fix Belladonna Cove and to restore the graves in the neighborhood, it will be discovered that Marek died a timely death, as he has a golden grave, along with his son.
