Her biography states that she was born and raised in the Mining District. She moved in with her granddaughter as she was terrified of her granddaughter Serena's safety and resentful of plumbot BitBot's domestic work, as she wasn't familiar with advanced technology due to her old ways of life at the Mining District. Despite that, she has mastered her Advanced Technology skill and has 4 skill points in the Laser Rhythm-a-con. Like all pre-made Sims from Oasis Landing, she has the Future Sim hidden trait.
She could be a distant relative and descendant of Sebastiana Russo, as both shares similar facial features (green eyes and tan skin), last name, heritage, and their tendency of being old-fashioned, although Sebastiana has the Dislikes Children trait while she has the conflicting trait, Family-Oriented.
