Mata is a pre-made female jaguar from Felicity Island, one of the island neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Castaway Stories. This Mata was possibly intended to be the jaguar featuring in the Shipwrecked and Single story. Another Mata, who is accually male despite the story indicating she is female, was used instead. Probably because the idea of adding jaguars to the game as the equivalent of stray cats had been dropped. This female Mata does not appear in-game through normal gameplay. She is hidden in the character files and can be found with SimPE. Mata is a genius, independent and finicky jaguar. She has no interests.
