Matthew Hart is a pre-made, playable Sim, studying at La Fiesta Tech, one of the college sub-neighborhoods shipped with in The Sims 2: University. He is an Oresha-Hoh-Var Fraternity member. Matthew is a Freshman, majoring in Economics. He has messy brown hair and light blue eyes, and wears a blue T-shirt and black pants.
Matthew is currently in love with Sarah Love, and they seem to have been sweethearts for quite a long time, as seen by his biography. However, he is unaware that Jessie Pilferson has a crush on him. Despite being in love with Sarah Love, neither of them have any memories of each other when first played.
There are several other Sims with the surname "Hart" throughout the series, including Randy Hart from SimValley, Sam Hart from Belladonna Cove and the Hart family of Sunset Valley. However, there is no evidence that he is related to any of them.
Matthew is 49 hours away from the final exam in his first semester, when the fraternity is first played. Like several other Sims from La Fiesta Tech, he starts off with no gender preference.
