Ned Lu is a pre-made firefighter who resides in Riverview. He can be made playable by asking him to move in, or by marrying him. He doesn't have any skills and relationships at the start of the game. He shows up less often than Laura Kemp when the firefighter is called when there's a fire. He shares exactly the same traits with Nancy Chow.

He shares the same surname with Jesse Lu and Rita Lu from Starlight Shores, and the Lu family from Shang Simla, although he does not appear to be related to any of them.
