Nestor Caliente is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. He was the husband of Dulcinea Caliente, the father of Tango and Flamenco Caliente, and the grandfather of Nina and Dina Caliente. Although Nestor is deceased when the game begins, he appears in the family tree of his twin granddaughters Nina and Dina.

His son Flamenco is the result of an alien abduction between Nestor, and Pollination Technician 7. According to his SimDNA in SimPE, Nestor's hair was blond before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 20 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, Nestor is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. He uses a character portrait pose that was discontinued during development. He shares a face template with Mama Lothario and Brenda Zaidi.
