What was once a bustling trade port now holds a number of homes and businesses that pay homage to their industrial roots and aim to, as the local expression goes, "Keep Evergreen Kooky!" While the actual port may no longer be running, the promise of something better remains.

Port Promise is a neighborhood located in Evergreen Harbor. It consists of five lots, three of which are residential while two are community lots.

The neighborhood starts in the industrial eco footprint by default. A community voting board can be found between The Shipping Views and The Portsmouth Promenade lots.

This beautifully repurposed space that sits at the base of the Croftville Dam is a meeting-place of past and present, as a modern home lives in the shell of a classic wood mill.

The Old Mill is a residential lot in Port Promise which is inhabited by the Sterling Rico household. A large home, the first floor is made up of a lounge room and kitchen, the second and third floors are both bedrooms and the fourth floor contains the juice fizzer, fabricator and vertical garden planters. The outside deck has a grill and a stairway to the third floor bedroom.

This lot is noticeably separate from the rest of Port Promise, being located on natural ground that requires a bridge to reach.

This old train station is now the perfect place to house a simple bar where people can get together and talk about a time when there was an old train station here.

The Caboose is a Bar in Port Promise. The first floor has two rooms, one contains the bar and tables, while the other has a jukebox and sitting area. The second floor contains separate bathrooms for male and female sims.

To be honest, this lot isn't even officially zoned for residential living, but this affordable home of converted shipping containers - not to mention the views of the Sound! - is the perfect place for anyone looking for a simple place to call home.

The Shipping Views is an uninhabited residential lot in Port Promise. It is made up of three large shipping containers remodeled to resemble a home. The larger container on the ground floor is made up of a bedroom and bathroom, while the second container on ground contains a ladder leading up to the second floor. The second floor has a balcony with a grill and a vertical garden.

An old port building now owned by the community, The Waterfront is always the "next" revitalization project, but seems to have a hard time getting the love and attention it deserves.

The Waterfront is a Community Space in Port Promise. By default it is a large, vacant building with a community voting board, a recycler, a dumpster and several piles of trash on the back deck outside. The appearance and objects of the lot will change depending on the community space sub-assignment.

Situated right past the entrance gate to Port Promise, this lot provides gorgeous views of the old port while within walking distance to most of the local landmarks.

The Portsmouth Promenade is a residential lot in Port Promise which is inhabited by the Greenburg household. The lot is compromised of a large shipping container which houses Mary and Blossom Greenburg, while the tall crane is home to their son, Knox Greenburg.

Both buildings contain a bedroom and bathroom, while the outside is littered with several flora, gardening boxes, eco-living activity and skill objects and a large dinner table in the middle of the lot.
