Rodney Smith is one of the pre-made NPC bartenders who resides in Bitville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. The other two bartenders are Danielle Larrea and Jason Nott. He can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. Rodney has medium-length brown hair in a ponytail, brown eyes, and medium skin. He is a Fortune Sim with the Gemini zodiac sign. As far as personality, Rodney is very neat, and somewhat outgoing and active. But he is somewhat serious and quite grouchy.

When it comes to Rodney's skill points, he has maximized the mechanical and charisma skills. He is mostly interested in Money, Paranormal, and Sports. Rodney has the same facial structure as Alan Bear. Sometimes if he is made playable, his PlumbBob will be inside him, instead of above his head. This happens with several other NPCs in Life Stories.
