Rose Dai is a member of the Techs from the Magic secret sub-neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. She appears in every neighborhood, being occasional the neighbor of Sims who live in a middle-high apartment. She can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. Like all pre-made townies, Rose's relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game.

She is employed in the Culinary career as a Fast Food Shift Manager at the start of the game. However her career will randomly change to match her social class, when she moves in as a neighbor or is searched as a possible roommate. As far as personality, Rose is very outgoing, quite nice, and somewhat playful. But she is very sloppy and lazy. When it comes to her skills, Rose has 1 skill point in creativity, but she doesn't have any other skills.

She is mostly interested in Culture and Paranormal. Rose has the same facial structure as Christy Inada. Even though she has red hair, Rose's SimDNA in SimPE confirms that her natural hair color is blonde. This is further supported as she has blonde eyebrows. Despite her career, Rose isn't interested in Food. She is also be turned off by Sims whose cooking skill is at level 6 or higher. Rose's clothes originated from the The Sims 2: Nightlife expansion pack and are typically worn by DJs.
