Ruby Broke is the daughter of Flo and Flat Broke, and older sister to the infamous Skip Broke, making her the aunt of Dustin and Beau. She lives with her large family, and wants to move out, but she likes being so close to them and is also known for being a bit overweight. Even though she has the good trait, her lifetime wish is to be a Heartbreaker. She is acquaintances with Sherman Bagley and frequently will get in a relationship with him if story progression is left on and he will normally move into the caravan park with the rest of the Broke family. She starts the game with a copy of special snowflake and a cheap boom box in her inventory.
She does not appear in either The Sims or The Sims 2, and what happened to her is not mentioned. It is likely that she would either be deceased or well into her elder stage by the time of The Sims 2. It is possible that she has some connection to Ruby Ann Hatfield from The Sims website, since they are of similar appearance (allowing for the 25 years that theoretically passed between the two games), temperament, and economic status; but this is purely speculation.
