Sentience is a trait chip in The Sims 3: Into the Future. It requires level 10 bot building skill to be built.

- Enables the Fun, Social and Mood Motives.
- Plumbot experiences Lifetime Wishes and Opportunities like an organic Sim.
- Plumbot becomes a true individual, even deciding its own name.

- Five crystals
- One large processor
Player notes[edit | edit source]
- Bi-ped plumbots with the sentience trait chip use normal Sim animations while moving, instead of the plumbot animations.
- Change lifetime wish, opportunistic, and carefree lifetime rewards require a plumbot to have a sentience chip installed before they can be purchased.
