Shelby Barrett is a member of the Socialites from the Magic secret sub-neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. She appears in every neighborhood, being occasional the neighbor of Sims who live in a high apartment. She can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. Like all pre-made townies, Shelby's relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game.

She is employed in the Culinary career as a Fast Food Shift Manager at the start of the game. However her career will randomly change to match her social class, when she moves in as a neighbor or is searched as a possible roommate. As far as personality, Shelby is very outgoing, quite nice, and somewhat playful. But she is very sloppy and lazy.

Shelby has the same facial structure as Sandy Bruty. She is recognizable by her brown dress and punk flip hairstyle.
