Simmer

Simmer is the informal name given to players and fans of The Sims series. EA uses the term in one of the loading screens for The Sims 4, thus making it the official name of anybody affiliated with The Sims fandom. Electronic Arts also occasionally uses the term in its gaming reports.^[1] An informal verb for playing The Sims is simming.
