Simon Beniz is a large male dog owned by Henry Beniz from Garden Heights, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. He is an adult Irish Wolfhound and does not wear a collar. In the Best in Show story, Henry and Simon compete in the SimCity Dog Show together against Alice Whitt and her dog Sam. He first appears in the story at Playground for Precious, where Alice arrives with Sam to registrate for the dog show.

Simon does not appear at The Show Park where the dog show takes place, but later it becomes clear that he and Henry qualified for the SimCity finals as well as Alice and Sam and Diana DeBore and Precious.

On the dog show day at Bartholomew Greens, Henry and Simon are the starting finalists. Alice and Sam go next and set a better score. Diana participates last but to all surprise gets disqualified because Precious falls from an obstacle and runs off, meaning that Alice and Sam got the most points and win the competition. Henry and Simon finish second place in the show.

Henry and Simon can be found residing at 1341 Buddy Street and become playable from there after the story is finished.

As far as personality goes, Simon is a genius, lazy, friendly, and cowardly dog. His main interests are Toys, Weather, and Playtime. Despite his memories, Simon doesn't know Indie or Meat at the beginning of the story.
