The Snooty Patooty family is a Maxis-made family for The Sims, made up of Chip and Buffy Snooty Patooty. Both Chip and Buffy are unemployed Sims who brag about their wealth and how their lives are too busy (playing cards and going on cruises). They and their house were once available for download at the official Sims site, but eventually taken down. However, the house and the family should still be available for download from this page at The Sims 1 Depot. The page at The Sims 1 Depot has pictures of their home at 2 Sim Lane. The name suits them well as Buffy and Chip appear to be very snooty and self-absorbed.
While players will often place this family in Neighborhood 1, it can be imported into any neighborhood.
Like most of the downloadable families in the original The Sims, their only known appearance is in The Sims, and their existence in other games such as The Sims 2 is probably unlikely, since they probably didn't survive to the timeline of the later games and they have no known children and no apparent desire to have any..
