Stella Maid[1][2], stylized as STELLA MAID[3] in-game, is the sole NPC maid in The Sims (Console).

The player is not able to hire her in Get a Life mode until they reach Level 2, Reality Bites, and complete the goal of cleaning the house. However the player is able to hire her in Play the Sims mode without having to unlock her first. In both modes she functions identically to Brigit the Maid in the PC version, appearing on the lot at 10 AM and cleaning any messes that are present until she is done cleaning or 5 PM, whichever comes first.

She is featured prominently in the 2-Player Bonus Game, The Maid's House, where two players are tasked with cleaning her both of her duplex house units and taking care of her two children Ester and Deezy.

While at work Stella wears the French maid uniform that is typical for the series along with a plain white headpiece and short brown hair with bangs. At the end of The Maid's House she changes into a casual outfit, with a medium blue sleeveless tank top, rose colored mid-length skirt, and bare feet. She then also changes into a two-piece deep red bikini swimsuit when getting into the hot tub. Her skin also darkens considerably when changing into her casual clothes.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Although her last name is Maid, it would presumably be Powers, as that is the last name of her two children Ester and Deezy.
    • It's also possible that it's the other way around and Easter and Deezy would have Maid as their last name instead.
      • It's also possible that they would just have different last names.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  1. The player is able to see her first name in the relationship panel at the end of The Maid's House 2-Player Game
  2. Her last name is not visible in-game, but it is referenced in the game's files. She belongs to Family ID 12 of the neighborhood used to store the lots for the 2-Player Mode, internally named ChalData. Family ID 12 is listed as having MAID as its family name.
  3. This is because The Sims (console) only supports capital letters.
