Stella Terrano is the only pre-made alien college student, studying Physics at La Fiesta Tech. Interestingly, she, along with Pollination Tech#9, is one of the two playable pure aliens. Although she has facial features similar to those of normal Sims, aliens do vary in that regard, with some having noses that are inherently Sim-like in size and shape.

She wears a pink floral sundress with tan flip-flops, which is very similar, but not identical to that of the townie Marisa Bendett from Pleasantview. She also dons a short hairstyle akin to Lola Singles from Strangetown.

Because La Fiesta Tech is not necessarily linked with Strangetown (though it usually is chosen to be by the player), it is possible for her to be played in any neighborhood. The name Stella means star. In addition to that, Terra would refer to Earth; it's conceivable that she picked Terrano when she chose to live among Sim-kind.

Because she is a pre-created college student, Stella's family ties are unknown. A possible in-universe explanation is that Stella separated herself from her family after migrating to the Sim world. She is 72 hours away from the final exam in her first semester, when she is first moved into a household or lot.

Similar to other Sims from La Fiesta Tech, she starts off with no gender preference. Also when viewing Stella's character file in SimPE her zodiac sign is not recognized.

Strangely when Stella's relationships are viewed in SimPE, she recognizes Chandler Wolosenko as her love interest, but the relation isn't mutual, as Chandler doesn't even know her. The reason for this unrequited relation is unexplained, but there are a few other playable Sims from University that also have these oddities within their character files.
