Spa
A spa is a community lot or rabbit hole. Lots with spa objects appear in The Sims: Superstar, spa rabbit holes appear in The Sims 3, and spas as a lot assignment appear in The Sims 4: Spa Day.
The Sims: Superstar[edit | edit source]
The Sims: Superstar expansion pack includes several spa objects. These objects are present in several Studio Town lots, and can also be added to other community or residential lots in the main neighborhood, or other sub-neighborhoods for The Sims.

When Sims are traveling to or around Studio Town, players can highlight lots containing spa objects. By default, four Studio Town lots feature at least one spa object, and three lots have a dedicated spa area featuring multiple spa objects.
The Sims 3[edit | edit source]
Spas are a community rabbit hole object in The Sims 3 that sell spa treatments, allowing stressed Sims to relax after work. Spas will increase the mood of Sims by satisfying a variety of needs such as fun, hygiene, comfort and energy, and may grant additional moodlets. Sims can also get tattoos at spas for §300. Sims can work part-time as either a receptionist or spa specialist. Generally, a spa is often combined with a bookstore in a multi-purpose rabbit hole.
The rabbit hole alone attracts Sims with loves the outdoors and athletic traits. Sims with the couch potato trait are repelled.
Sims can partner with and own spas.
When Sims visit the spa, music from build and buy modes from The Sims can be heard.
If the Sunlit Tides Gold Edition is purchased, players can purchase a massage table and a sauna that can be used to build a working non-rabbit hole spa on residential and community lots.

The Sims 4[edit | edit source]
Spa is a lot assignment in The Sims 4: Spa Day. Sims can visit the Spa for a revitalizing massage, or work on the wellness skill with some yoga. They can take relaxing mud baths, hand and foot massages, work on the fitness skill, and relax in the saunas to melt away the daily stresses.
Spa Day comes with three pre-made spas. They can be found by going into The Gallery and selecting My Library. Using the 'Maxis' content filter will make them easier to locate.
