I hate it how the only premade child in Pleasantview is a nerd... - JEA13 [iTalk] 17:47, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Alexander is not a nerd, he is a genius. Lucy Burb is a child as well. Beau will be a child ina couple days.--Bella Goth 22:56, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Bella Goth

Future Occupation[edit source]

I am having trouble choosing a career for young Alexander. He is now a teen and will be going to college soon. What careers did you guys pick for him?--Bella Goth 18:16, February 14, 2010 (UTC)Bella Goth

I chose Oceanography [TS2:FT]. Bleeh [iTalk] 18:24, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

I'm planning on Angela Pleasant doing that. Does a Natural Scientst sound like Alex. Although, I'm planning on his niece doing that. His bio says he likes number theory, any careers that deal with numbers?--Bella Goth 19:22, February 14, 2010 (UTC)Bella Goth

Bleeh My daddy is the richest man in all of Belladonna Cove!

It seems as though you actually plan out your game. I'm the complete opposite because at first I plan something out, and change it a couple second later. Maybe Architecture [TS2:FT]?

Yes, lol. I have pages and pages of ideals for all my Sims. I like to have structure and be organized and know exactly what is happening. I also go to a family tree website and have Pleasantview's family tree, lol. The whole town is now related some way or another. --Bella Goth 20:01, February 14, 2010 (UTC)Bella Goth

It must take a lot of dedication to actually make your plans follow through, haha. Bleeh [iTalk] 20:06, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

He should have a career in science, like his father. C.Syde (talk | contribs) 21:51, December 13, 2013 (UTC)

Predetermined Aspiration[edit source]

Out of curiosity, where in SimPE is this talk of pre-determined aspirations for the children of Pleasantview coming from? Is it hidden away somewhere? I've found nothing on this while looking through it. 68.14.88.194 18:51, March 18, 2011 (UTC)

Following in the footsteps of his father[edit source]

I always give him the fortune aspiration. Following in his father's footsteps does suggest that he should aspire to knowledge. But he comes from a wealthy family and he seems to be the sort who'd want to continue the tradition. I use the Sim Modder to change his lifetime want to become mad scientist. I always make him get a job in the science career. Whenever he sees a ghost, I always briefly change his aspiration to knowledge so that he can get a positive memory from it.

I would have given him the knowledge aspiration as a sub aspiration. But I don't have the FreeTime expansion pack installed on my computer yet. C.Syde (talk | contribs) 07:22, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

I either give him the Fortune or Knowledge aspiration. Sort of half and half for both. Joey.eyeball (talk) 07:24, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

Genetics Mystery[edit source]

Many players including myself have discovered that when Alexander grows into a teenager, it becomes clear that he uses the same face template as Goopy GilsCarbo, with customizations being almost zero. Many players even go as far as to say that he is secretly the son of Goopy.

However there is no way that he is Goopy's son. For one thing his NID indicates that he was created before Goopy. For another, the developers have never mentioned about the supposed secret family connection. To add to that, there are many Sims in the Sims series whose facial features do not directly resemble those of their parents. C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:13, December 9, 2013 (UTC)

What most likely happened is that all pre-made Sims were created separately, not together nor through any actual genetic gameplay. This is very likely the case in at least the base game Sims. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 02:24, June 7, 2014 (UTC)

What you said is unmistakably true. But it is almost certainly the case of more than just the base game Sims (e.g. Stephen and Wanda and Melody Tinker. C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:16, June 7, 2014 (UTC)

Yup, de-age Buster Clavell into a YA and then see if he looks anything like his parents or his son. Most premades were not made by mixing the parent's genetics. They just have the premade facial features from CAS but slightly customized. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 03:44, July 31, 2014 (UTC)

Alexander in The Sims 4[edit source]

Somehow I think it would be fun playing Alexander in The Sims 4. I could make him play chess all day, read and just do...stuff geniuses would do? 2.121.15.241 (talk) 21:38, October 15, 2014 (UTC)
