Could someone help me here on Alia?

When I play my game of the sims 3 xbox 360 and I choose the house lot near the Idaho family and Zhang family. Alia always walks out and doesn't do anything and a few seconds later she goes back inside. She keeps doing it daily. Oh and she should have had the couch potato trait as she is always watching TV and not doing her homework unlike her brother who works hard and plays hard.
