In Sims 2, I've noticed that a Sim can't grill ribs on community lots if there's no fridge, but I don't know if they can do it if there is a fridge.
In the Sims 3 section, I assumed that "Many grills are placed on community lots which other sims may cook when they are hungry." meant that other Sims might grill on community lots, as nothing else made sense, but not having Sims 3, I don't know if that's the case. Autonomous grilling in The Sims 2[edit source]
I just saw a selectable Sim grill autonomously while on a college community lot that had no fridge. Apparently, it can happen under some conditions, but since I've only seen it happen that once, I have no idea what those conditions might be. Dharden (talk) 19:19, July 9, 2012 (UTC)
Long page saving times[edit source]

Rename?[edit source]
I think "barbecue grill" is a better name for the appliance. "Barbecue" may refer to the food or the apparatus, while IMO "barbecue grill" is more precise. Nikel Talk – Vote! 08:10, September 14, 2014 (UTC)
