I heard that Nina and Dina are in reality Melissa and Chris Roomies. Is that truth? (unsigned comment left by 212.200.193.48)

It's not even close. Dharden 18:11, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

Dharden is right, they are not the same people. The Sims 1 is set 25 years before the Sims 2, so if it were true, Nina and Dina would hve to be at least in their late 40's. Also, their skin tones are quite different from Chris and Melissa. A german diector has a series, see Sim Generation were Nina and Dina are really Chris and Melissa though.--Bella Goth 19:25, December 13, 2009 (UTC)Bella Goth

I don't know how to change the Caliente family template, but the word "descent" in the entry for Nina is spelled as "decent." That is incorrect. Descent is what produces a descendant. Decent means "morally clean and good."

Um, nina and dina are twins, chris and melissa are just acquaintances that ended up living together. And which one would be which?
I think more like along the lines of the TS3EP02 Roommates (alma and blaise) being the spiritual sequel of Chris and Melissa, the TS3 Working Friends being the spiritual sequel of the TS2 N002 Singles, and i think there will be a TS4 Roomies Household too. Wonder how many of them will be related to people in town - or to the TS3 Roomies even! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaiko Mikkusu (talkcontribs) (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~

Caliente family vs Caliente household[edit source]

I've started a discussion about the situation regarding the article on Caliente household and the article on the Caliente family, on this talk page. Please go there and sound off on what we should do regarding this situation. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog 05:27, September 24, 2010 (UTC)

Burglar[edit source]

I'm familiar with the burglar scenario in Caliente family, but I don't know if it has anything to do with Dina's moving out. I decided to test it in my game from start, but strangely, the scenarios won't occur. None of the unique scenarios in any three of the neighborhoods will occur. I don't understand why and it's been pretty long since the last time I tweaked my game. But I don't recall I've ever changed anything with my neighborhood files. I did play the uber-megahood from Tarlia long ago if that makes any difference. Nikel Talk Vote! 14:29, August 16, 2013 (UTC)

Oasis Springs Caliente[edit source]

The Caliente family in Oasis Springs is a household because Don lives with them. This means that they should be called Caliente household instead. The problem is, the name has already been used. Should we merge both households into one page or separate them by the neighborhood / world name? I say separate them since it's tidier, and if readers want to read about Caliente family specifically, they can be guided here, just like how the Barnacle Bay household is currently like. well technically it's not the same household, one has Dina Nina and their new roomate Luisa, the other has Katrina and Don but no Luisa, well Dina and Nina have lived with Don and Toothless Joe before. And the Beakers live with Nervous Subject who is as name says a test subject not a family member, you can still call that the caliente family since don is suppose to at least fall in love with them. It's not the Lothario family because that redirects to Don's page. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 20:05, September 20, 2014 (UTC)
