Talkin' 'bout face templates...[edit source]
...but am I the only one who is relatively confident that, similar to Hal, she has a different facial structure as an elder than when being an adult (though not that extreme)? Just askin'... AldeaMalvada (talk) 22:18, May 24, 2014 (UTC)
- Sims like Desdemona who use the 2nd face template will have gaunt facial features as an elder. But that isn't officially a broken face template. However if Hal was a female and he was an elder, then his facial features wouldn't be so gaunt. Confusing isn't it? C.Syde (talk | contribs) 23:22, May 24, 2014 (UTC)

Ѧüя◎ґ is right to suggest that the base game pre-made Veronaville Sims have problems with face templates. And the reference that Nikel provided doesn't appear to be incorrect either.
However this does not apply to Desdemona and she does not have a broken template. She is one of the few playable Sims from the base game who uses a template with no almost no modifications. When using Body Shop and Create a Sim, the 2nd default face template (known as "archbase") is the one Desdemona uses. Apparently all Sims who use that template will have slightly different facial features as elders - more gaunt features etc.
The 21st ("archcper") and 25th ("archcsla") face templates look like the 2nd template for all stages except adult. But for the elder stage, their features look more like the 2nd face template as an adult, as opposed to what the 2nd face template looks like as an elder.

I remembered seeing it ages ago, and it took me a while to locate it again. I've never used that mod before (I've never actually used any mods......yet). But the people who have used it are obviously impressed. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 05:41, August 13, 2014 (UTC)
