I did believe that saying what really happens on this lot type in general, in one sentence, and in the end giving reason why, again in one sentence, not more, was correct, with examples as provided by senior editors already. Proposed split

I personally disagree that this article needs to be split into different articles. It isn't particularly lengthy—the Servo page is much longer—and splitting it to Dormitory (The Sims 2) would be unnecessary. Let's not forget that the "The Sims 3: University Life" section is pretty minimalistic right now, and splitting this article would leave the main Dormitory article in a rather dismal state. I think we should focus on getting some images for this article, and expanding the TS3 section. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:23, September 15, 2018 (UTC)

I will disagree with splitting the article. No reason to split them, especially since they are the same thing in both games. And it seems like one of the reasons for the split was that TS2 section is too long, which doesn't make sense to me at least. - SimDestroyer (talk) 18:00, September 19, 2018 (UTC)

It's been a week since the split was proposed. No one has argued for it or agreed with it, and the discussion seems to have slacked off. Should we call it now, or give it some more time? Dharden (talk) 03:13, September 23, 2018 (UTC)

Pardon me If I sort of necro this again, but I wanna add that this article overwhelming with information (especially for a non-english speaker myself). I strongly feel this needs (more) reorganization of some kind, so it's easier to read and that bits aren't that scattered. I feel it needs a few more heading sections ("Door rooms" renamed from "door life", devote "Cafeteria" in its section, "Amenities for communal areas") and a bit of rearranging (the navigation box or whatever clicky-heading-thing is called) looks ugly and the advantage/disadvantage section needs a better.... idk, needs to be of top.
