Origin?

Just a heads up, Granite Falls is seemingly based of Yosemite National Park in California. The main hint towards this is the name, Granite - What Yosemite is mainly composed of, Falls - The giant cataract(s) located in the area. From what we've seen, there's a large wooded area which is very similiar Yosemite's Rewood forest. And finally there's a the factor of it being a national park, both of them have this trait.
