There will be baby horses, they are called foals and they depend from their parents. I'm surprised that EA didn't mention that when the game is announced O.o. But no worries, there will be baby horses, it's confirmed. ;) Vss2eip^{talk here} 11:07, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

Stray horse

Did I read there will be stray horses? If so, it will be silly if there are stray horses in Bridgeport, for example... Nikel _Talk 09:47, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, there will be stray horses, and if the Sim befriends them you'll be able to adopt them. Yes it is a bit silly for horses to be in an urban city :p, however, I read that the game needs some time to spawn animals in other neighborhoods (ex. Sunset Valley), unlike Appaloosa Plains which already has all animals "spawned". Vss2eip^{talk here} 11:07, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

The spawning is not a big deal. It works like in TS2. It has been a problem which has been fixed by antiredundancy (In TS2). Still, it reminds me to my friend saying every EP won't match to each others... Stray horses?? Gimme a break. Nikel _Talk 10:24, September 20, 2011 (UTC)

Horse Breeds

I just found some info on a French site and some more that there will be about 30 horse breeds, not 5. One of them will be Appaloosa, too, just like the Pets' town's name. There are some pictures too! I'll try to find the link. Vss2eip^{talk here} 11:07, September 19, 2011 (UTC)

Buying and Selling

Can you buy or sell horses? Like say I have three horses and I want to get rid of one? How do I do that? Do I sell it somehow to "release it back into the wild"? Call "Animal Control?" Anyone know? Also, do we know chinchillas are confirmed? I haven't seen anything about them in trailers or EA screenshots. 98.219.61.14 (talk) 23:08, October 16, 2011 (UTC)

We haven't yet known how to get rid or sell a horse because The Sims 3 Pets is not yet released. We must wait until the release to know more about Pets. Nikel _Talk 03:58, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

I think I read something about this in a preview. You should buy horses by adopting them via the phone or adopting them in the 'animal shelter' (I'm not really sure about the last one). As for selling, I don't know. You could probably put it for adoption or sell it to someone, like in The Sims 2: Pets. Vss2eip^{talk here} 12:15, October 17, 2011 (UTC)

Carrots and Apples

Alright, I remember when they were talking about this game and they said that horses would be able to eat your veggies. And there are two moodlets, one for apples, and one for carrots. Yet, I have seen no carrrots nor how to obtain carrots. And horses can't interact with apples. Am I missing something?? Trimalynn ^(talk) 23:41, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

Stables?
