Violin compositions[edit source]
Does sims learn both medieval and classical compositions when they reach certain level, or it depends which compositions they learn on which style they play?

- I believe Sims just simply learn both compositions when they reach the level. Sims don't learn violin compositions AFAIK. Nikel Talk – Vote! 07:32, August 30, 2013 (UTC)
- I'll be checking this and I hope they will learn both types of compisitions when they reach certain lever no matter shich style, classical or medieval they will play violin.

- I'll be honest. I've never advanced more than level 3 in Violin skill, so I never knew about this. I've always thought they will automatically learn the compositions. If you are willing to, please check that out. Nikel Talk – Vote! 03:41, August 31, 2013 (UTC)
- I'm doing it now, lvl4 and grows, I'll train one only on classical playing and see if she learns medieval compositions. However the percentage of compositions known doesn't split classical from medieval, but I think is written in general, because it's written "Percantage of compositions known", so when I will be able to perform one I will see if she knows both types.

Friends Galore![edit source]
Just a couple of passing observations on the Guitar skill in the base game. I created a Sim with the "Rock Star" goal in Riverside and eventually got there. Along the way I found that playing for tips pays better than the Music career jobs (Rock path) with less stress. Gigs at Level 10 pay about 1900 each (haven't done the 10 venues yet, so no idea what it pays after that), but my Sim can make upwards of 3000 per day playing for tips outside the Bistro or in one of the nearby parks with zero job stress and free food with the appopriate reward. The downside of doing this is that just about the entire town is now my Best Friend and I've completed one of the Charisma challenges, even though I hardly talk direectly to anyone other than the band members and my girlfriend. Nice warm fuzzy feeling to have loads of friends, but annoying when those Sims want to call to chat while I'm in the middle of something. Maybe I should have my Sim switch to the political career path now. With all of those friends, it should be almost impossible to lose an election. 72.183.214.11 (talk) 14:06, June 29, 2014 (UTC)
