Katrina

But it might be true because first of all, Dina Caliente is in Willow Creek, so you would assume Nina would be there too because they are sisters. Next, the name Katrina is a bit like Nina. The development team replaced Nighat with Katrina. However it is generally accepted that TS4 is an alternate continuity from the rest of the series and should be treated separately. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 21:44, July 27, 2014 (UTC)

┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘On the topic that TS4 is an alternative continuity what does that mean for the wiki pages (say Bella Goth for example) will there be a whole new page about Bella Goth for TS4 as she will have a different story, probably background, and maybe a different family tree? Like obviously the wiki can't have the Caliente family from the original series on the same page as the Caliente family from the reboot (Sims 4) as Dina and Nina have a different Mother, so most probably a different family tree. There is no actual family tree except for the relationships in the family panel. So there is no way to see who is the daddy of these Nina & Dina, or if their dad was even conceived through an alien abduction like Flamenco Caliente . I'm just gonna say he was, but his name was not Flamenco (even though he looked the same and so did his full-human halfbrother, human father, and stepmother) and he either died while Katrina was pregnant, or while Dina & Nina were no more than 6-7 years old. And there, Caliente is actually her maiden name while Al Mahmoud was their father's surname. Maybe. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 17:27, September 5, 2014 (UTC)

My theory

I believe that Katrina isn't just a replacement of Nighat, or that she even is Nighat. I believe that in the alternate universe, instead of creating a new mother, Katrina is actually meant to be the twins stepmother. Nighat died when the twins were children, and Flamenco married the much younger Katrina soon after, and the twins and game treat her as a real mother. This is what I think

Personally, I'm not too big on them changing their mother from Nighat to Katrina. Two different people? Not the best move IMHO. I can't quite understand why they would change their mother's name. If they're going to change an (as of ts2) ancestral sim, why not change some others? Why not throw Michael Bachelor in as Bella's sister? I'm joking about Michael, but I don't think it was the best idea on their part. What would motivate them to change her?
