New town[edit source]

Oh my gosh, a new town. Wait.. I bet I still need to pay. Jeez, EA, make this a free town. Everyone likes freebies you know. They are just wasting their own money to give you so that you can sell this to them.

Expect Sims from Strangetown![edit source]

This neighborhood reminds me of Strangetown.... SodaDog 11th Feburary 2012, 18:00 (GMT)

I doubt that, this world is take a place in outer space, not in sim "earth". so I dont expect any Strangetown sim here. but what I expect is the original homeworld of alien such as PT9 family, with many colony drones and birth queen... Wiryawan310 07:15, February 12, 2012 (UTC)
Ooh, i'd love to see an alien civilisation! But unfortunately...
When the Sims first crash landed on Lunar Lakes they found the crystal mine they used it's crystal tech to help begin their lives on the new world. The Lunar Lakes that you'll see now is a few generations after the initial landing. SimGuruTaterTot
I guess there will just be a bunch of random Sims that don't fit in with the world around them. Oh well.

Actually there is a descendant of the Specter Family in Lunar Lakes, Nuella Specter. The Black Scorpion 13:19, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
Really? Wow, intriguing! But... how come the descendant of a mysterious woman ends up here? And didn't you mean ancestor? Nikel Talk 07:18, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, according to EA she's a descendant, not an ancestor. Lunar Lakes takes place in the future. Far beyond Sims 2. Which is crazy. But this is the second world that is set after The Sims 1, 2 and 3. Barnacle Bay was the first and now Lunar Lakes.--The Black Scorpion 13:19, February 18, 2012 (UTC)
Unfortunately, her name is Noela Spector and not Specter, which makes impossible to understand whether this Sim is related to the Specter family. =/ --RoseGui (talk here) 12:18, February 26, 2012 (UTC)
Actually, she is confirmed by the downloaded neighborhood's live video feed that Noela Spector is descended from the Specter family. Her last name might be an error on the game producer's part. Ѧüя◎ґ 14:12, February 26, 2012 (UTC)
Since we're talking about EA, I'd expect that. Also, spellings can change and drift over time, especially with names such as Specter/Spector. Dharden (talk) 14:43, February 26, 2012 (UTC)
Yup, for how she (and Oasis Landing's Planchette, too) are related\descended from Olive, they're either related to Ichabod and are Olive's in-laws, (The strangetown "specter" family is actually the Muenda family) or Nervous Subject changed his last name to Spector when he ran away from the Beaker's basement, and his kids ended up with dark skin as a trowback to Olive. Or change Nervous to Ophelia, and "when he ran away from the Beaker's basement" to "when she married Johnny Smith and inherited her aunt's fortune and killing\death business". Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 10:31, April 20, 2014 (UTC)

Geez, how could they possibly make such error? I mean, they switched letter E with O? Well, unless they're using DVORAK keyboard, though it's unlikely. Nikel Talk 15:03, March 16, 2012 (UTC)

...Wait! there is also Bella Goth, dead, but not the same. And then there's Mathilde Goth, a mailwoman. She's possibly a direct descendant of the Goth family fortune. On her wiki page, It is easy to tell she has a huge resemblance to the REAL Bella Goth.

Townie Surnames[edit source]

Forget Bella Goth and the Spector. EA screwed up again (which I just realized) so all the townies surnames share the same as the existing, premade ones! Since it's so obvious about that, it's safe to assume that they have some kind of relation or so, instead of saying that they only share the same surname. I thought this only happened to the playables... Nikel Talk 14:29, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

Returning families[edit source]

The Cross and Stewart families are actually returning, not new - could someone please move them, I'm not good enough at coding to figure it out, and I can't get it to work with visual editor... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.153.201.50 (talkcontribs) 13:51, May 13, 2017‎ (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
